Public health + nursing + systems perspective
Founder of Aurillow Collective
Aarin Urevig is a Registered Nurse, Public Health Nurse, and Certified Lactation Counselor with experience supporting families through pregnancy, postpartum recovery, infant feeding, and early parenting transitions.
Her professional background includes municipal public health nursing, family home visiting, maternal-child health education, lactation support, and connecting families with community resources. She has worked directly with diverse families navigating real-world barriers to care, helping make health information more practical, understandable, and accessible.
Aarin also holds a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Maternal and Child Health, where her graduate work focused on advancing family wellbeing through systems change, community engagement, health equity, and evidence-informed program improvement. Her academic work has included breastfeeding equity research, public policy, human-centered design, quality improvement, and improving access to services for families.
She combines direct-care nursing experience with public health systems thinking to help families feel supported—and to help provider partners strengthen the continuum of care.
Aurillow Collective was created to make perinatal support feel more connected, approachable, and community-centered.
